Local 101 Direction and Purpose
The Local Union has adopted the eagle as it's mascot.The same symbol that represents the United States.
The eagle stands for strength, independence, courage
and vision. We at Local 101 will work very hard to
live up to those qualities.
A Local Union is not just a few good
members carrying the load of many but it is many good
members carrying the load together. United this local union will
stand and divided we will fall. We have no intention to fall,
so become a good member of your union and make it succeed.
We would like you to become active by
attending your membership meetings, running for office as a
Shop Steward, officer or committee person. Support your stewards
and officers and the Local Union initiatives and endeavors, stay
informed and involved. Stand up for your Union, don't let anyone
put it down, silence is consent.
So speak up and speak out.
Join your brothers and sisters in the union and make it work.
